oakhurst

i needed to do my taxes still... yep, left it till the last minute this year, lol. i gathered all of our stuff and headed to oakhurst. we had such a fun time that we've now stayed two nights! we have to get home today (we are missing daddy lots) but it has been fun. i took some cute pictures so hopefully i can post a few for you when we get home. hope everyone is happy and well!!

the day before our trip

the anticipation was crazy at our house the day before disneyland =-D the kids (the big and the little kind) were so excited!! the last time we went blake was just over a year old and brayden just under 3 years old and ab's wasn't even a thought. i'm not sure brayden remembered much but he sure talked like he did, lol. everyone had such a hard time falling asleep they all ended up in different rooms. ab's finally fell asleep in my arms on the couch. brayden ended up on my bed with a mound of pillows, lol.

blake fell asleep on the rocking chair but i took him to his bed after he was dreaming about mickey.

uncle landon arrived late but was excited to be coming with us. mark (his son but has now been renamed markie mouse) stayed with my mom in oakhurst.

driving to disneyland wasn't that bad. traffic went smooth and the kids kept switching cars during our potty stops.

Disneyland

we are home from disneyland and it was a BLAST!!!! the kids (both the big and little kind) were fabulous. we walked in on the first day and there stood goofy. all four kids were so excited. abigayle absolutely loved the characters, which was a huge shock to me, lol. once i sort through my pictures, i'll share some more with you all. a huge thanks to mom and curt for a memorable vacation!! THANK YOU!!!! oh... an my news - my dear sweet husband bought me a new camera!! i'm so stinkin excited!! he bought me my first 'big girl' camera when brayden was just 6 months old and when we were living in new jersey, it started breaking. my 'throw away' camera also has stopped consistently working and our video camera got wet in the move to new jersey. i've been sooo bummed for so long. i absolutely love taking pictures and capturing memories. i feel like i've missed so much since my camera hasn't been working. well... he bought me a new one and it's a better 'big girl' one than before =-D he wrote me a note, and when i opened it i saw the words "hi, don't be mad." haha!! what a way to start a note, huh? anyways... i can't wait to show you some pictures and tell you how much fun we had in disneyland!!

we are headed to disneyland tomorrow!!! the kids are super excited but i must say i'm super excited too =-) i have a surprise to tell you all but... it'll have to wait till after our trip! enjoy your weekend!!
